Stereoscopic Vision

Stereoscopic vision is also termed as Stereopsis or Stereo vision. The word stereo comes from the greek word "stereos" which means solid. With stereo vision you can be able to see an object's perception of depth and 3 Dimensional vision. Human eyes are positioned side-by-side on human face. Each eye has its own view. There will be a slight difference in the images viewed by both eyes because of their positional differences. The brain combines the images from both the eyes and forms a 3D image which has height, width and depth. The depth is the thing that make our vision 3D or stereoscopic. Stereoscopic vision makes us to analyse the positions of objects in real world acurately.
